Belite Lowers Cost of Aircraft Kits

New Superlite Trike boasts bigger engine with more lightweight components.

Belite Aircraft introduces a new aluminum ribbed wing design that last longer and cuts costs.

Wichita, KS -- Belite announces two significant changes to kit pricing: 1) New aluminum ribbed wing design that lasts longer and cuts cost; and 2) New "tack welded" fuselage variation that cuts costs as well.

It is now possible to purchase a Belite Kit, with aluminum spars and stamped aluminum ribs, along with a tack-welded ChromAloy fuselage and tack-welded tail feathers / landing gear, for $10,000*. Builders desiring to prove their skills with a wing kit first will have that option available for only $1,430*.

Belite's award winning design (Grand Champion Ultralight 2010 Sun N Fun Award) has received great reviews and offers fantastic utility and flying fun. The Belite ultralight aircraft is FAR Part 103 compliant, yet looks and flies like a real airplane. It may also be build as a high performance, single-seat utility experimental aircraft.

WING KIT PRICING

The new wing design features aluminum stamped ribs, along with dual aluminum spars. As a result, wing life is extended over older wood rib versions.

Belite's aluminum/wood wing kit formerly sold for $2000. This improved design kit is priced at $1,430 and is an ideal starting point for customers who want to build their own ultralight or homebuilt experimental airplane.

FUSELAGE KIT PRICING

The new tack-welded ChromAloy steel fuselage offers significant savings over the fully welded version. For builders with welding skills, this is the best combination of factory jig setup and builder finish welding. This tack welded fuselage requires the builder to finish weld, saving $1,200 over a fully welded kit. Builders save money while the difficult job of cutting and alignment is completed by Belite.

NEW PRICING ON POPULAR MODELS

The Belite Aircraft Basic Kit is now priced at $11,200. The Basic Kit includes all-aluminum spar/rib wing kit and a fully welded fuselage. A tack welded Kit reduces the price by $1,200.
