Belite’s new RADIANT instrument line combines many functions into simple, small, lightweight units. The new instruments utilize sunlight readable full color high contrast LCD screens which are also friendly with sunglasses.  Most of these new units feature a Belite crafted feature: persistence.  This features displays the last history of the information. For example, the last 30 minutes of fuel level information is shown graphically along with the current fuel level.  This provides the pilot with the ability to look at information on the display screens and make better informed decisions, as opposed to the lack of history provided by traditional steam gauge instruments and other glass panel products.

All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100milliamps of power from a supply of 8 to 14 volts.  All instruments are dimmable.

“These products were specifically designed for experimental and LSA category aircraft,” said James Wiebe, CEO of Belite Electronics.  “They are smaller, lighter, more brilliant and more functional than other aircraft instruments and will provide the aircraft builder or LSA manufacturer the ability to supply more function with more simplicity and less weight and cost than competing products.”

RADIANT MULTI-FUNCTION INSTRUMENT WITH ASI, VSI AND ALTITUDE

This instrument shows simultaneous ASI, Altitude and VSI information in a single glance, easy to read format. All of this information is presented digitally and graphically on a single vivid LCD screen.  This instrument shows Air Speed (various ranges), VSI (+/- 2000 fpm), Altitude to 20K. All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100milliamps of power from a supply of 8 to 14 volts.  All instruments are dimmable. Instruments are available with ranges of 100mph, 160mph, 200mph, 100 knots, 160 knots.

RADIANT G METER

This instrument allows pilot to track G rate trend while doing a turn or aerobatic maneuver.  Shows G trend history. All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100milliamps of power from a supply of 8 to 14 volts.  All instruments are dimmable.

RADIANT ANGLE OF ATTACK

he Radiant Angle of Attack Sensor & Display System includes weather vane, sensor, LCD RADIANT color Display, aural output when graph is red zone. The vane is mounted on the leading edge of the wing and responds immediately to any change in angle of attack. The vane provides an electronic voltage level, proportional to angle, which is connected to a billiant, full29647039126-f2c3d972d1-o.jpg color daylight readable cockpit AOA instruments. The instrument is mounted in the aircraft’s panel.

The actual angle of attack is shown in continuous digital format as well.  This is a differential angle from the base (cruise) setting.  The bar graph and the numerical value fall rapidly as the elevator is shoved forward.

All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100 milliamps of power from a supply of 8 to 14 volts.  All instruments are dimmable.

RADIANT TURN COORDINATOR

  • Unit weighs 1.8 ounces and is thinner than a quarter.
  • Excellent source of turn rate and slip / skid, simultaneously.
  • Unit uses any power source from 10 to 36 volts.
  • Resets from any aircraft upset position

The RADIANT Turn Coordinator provides a visual indication of turn rate along with a visual indication of slip / skid, utilizing an ultra bright, daylight readable color LCD display. In comparison to all other Turn Coordinators, this unit also provides a digital indication of degrees per second in the turn.  It is also inexpensive, at $299.95.

Any pilot who has ever wanted to add a turn coordinator to an experimental aircraft panel has been put off by the complexity, weight, reliability, and price of traditional electric or vacuum units.  Our new product solves all these problems.  It utilizes a solid state gyro and accelerometer; it weighs less than 2 ounces, it attaches to any aircraft ship power system, and it allows for easy in flight calibration at the push of a button.

The unit graphic design looks exactly like existing turn coordinators, so there is no learning curve for the pilot. Also, unlike some products, the unit’s gyro will stabilize even if brought to power under aircraft upset conditions. This is the first avionic product from Belite which is also compatible with 28V aircraft electrical systems.  The internal power regulator has been designed to withstand transients to 60 volts. This instrument shows inclinometer and turn rate.  All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100milliamps of power from a supply of 8 volts.  All instruments are dimmable.

RADIANT TACHOMETER

COMING SOON! This instrument shows RPM (engine), RPM (propeller), Total Time, Flight Time. All instruments are designed for a standard 2.25” cutout, and use approximately 100milliamps of power from a supply of 8 to 14 volts.  All instruments are dimmable.
